eLearning Lesson 2: Part 2 by Benz Kew (09)

As we all know, books are heavy and consume lots of space on our shelves. When we plan to shift the books to another place, it could be very tiring as we have to place our books from the shelves onto the floor and this will cause back pain over a long period of time. We need to get the books out of the shelves, carry it and slowly place it on to the floor as it may produce a loud thud when it is dropped. So my solution is to use the crank and slider mechanism so the user will only turn the crank round and the slider will slowly push out the books onto the inclined plane so it slowly goes down to the floor, shown in my sketch. It might not work properly as the slider can reach to a certain distance, so some books will be left in the shelves but it would be much easier for the user to carry by him/herself.

Thanks and Cheers!
