  1. It is well balanced, the whole design on a whole looks like the components "Belongs" together. It also incorporates traditional and modern indian components in its design, perfectly blended which makes the building more meaningful.

Additionally, it is iconic, unique and most importantly, sustainable building for the green future.

  2. My thoughts and contributing factors:

Firstly, the winning design is said to translate the centre's stated vision into an iconic, unique and sustainable building that blends both traditional Indian, as well as modern architectural elements. Secondly, it is tessellated into a hexagon shape and trees on the roof. During the night, the lights shine brightly out of the glass and appeal to the people. It displays the Indian culture effectively.

  3. I feel that this design is unique and especially at night, the "glowing lantern" represents the nature of Indian Culture. I feel that the reason why it won the prize is because it combined both the tradition and modern features of the Indian culture, emphasizing on the fact that it is a "Indian Heritage Centre"

My thoughts are that it design is taken from a few buildings like vivo city, the 2008 beijing olympics cube. It also have a roof top garden like the marina bay sands and like the national library in singapore with the garden.

  8. I feel that this design is unique as it stands out both in the day and in the night. But not only that it stands out during both times of the day, it also brings out the traditional indian essence. In the pictures it has even shown trees at the top which hints that it is eco-friendly and the design looks very spacious. Both its day and night view would be the one that leaves the greatest impression on people.

  9. The design is special and it catches people's eyes quickly. It is a very modernized building which makes it aesthetically appealing. This building would leave a good impression on people who walks pass it and they would remember it. The pattern on the building are hexagons which is a pattern not many use.
